SAM can segment any object from a given input prompt, such as a point, a box, or a natural language description. It can also generate masks for all objects in an image automatically.

SAM is powered by a deep learning model that can produce photorealistic images from natural language inputs. SAM has been trained on a dataset of 11 million images and 1.1 billion masks, which is the most extensive segmentation dataset to date.
